We've been updating our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr daily with Inktober drawings so we'll post them here too - with a little extra content for you to enjoy! We'll update the blog every 10 days with 10 cute and/or spooky drawings from the previous days. And don't forget about the big announcement on the 31st!
Day 1:
Heres Squish and Oob reading from one of the many bookshelves scattered around the castle. Oob couldnt turn the pages on their own so Squish is helping them out :)
Day 2:
Ah Regular Roy, our favorite potato boy. The bag he carries around is always well stocked with spuds and though he might be a scaredy cat in the face of real monsters, he likes the spooky season a lot.
Day 3:
Squish and Mimic! They get along as well as a mold and an algae can, which is pretty well actually. The Mimic is practically blind and might try to eat even monsters when they pass but Squish is always a welcome friend!
Day 4:
This is our first view of the Thief in all her piles of glory! She always wears her hood up and they say no ones ever seen her face and lived...
Day 5:
Squish and Oob are notorious escape artists, one because they actually escape and the other is just impossible to catch. Oob is always supportive of their little slime friend no matter the places they get stuck in.
Day 6:
Here's a steamy introduction to the Knight. Clunky and clumsy as always he must've put his armor on and forgot to do up a few buckles. Don't worry-he'll come back after he's all fixed up.
Day 7:
The Wyrm! Sitting in holes is their specialty and this one is doing just that. Looks a little fishy from the front doesn't it? They think they are descended from dragons but the dragons don't think so and neither do most people. Nonetheless they like to horde cool rocks and colorful glass and sit on the pile making happy *cat coughing up hairball* noises.
Day 8:
Alex the Mage is one of 3 siblings who are all very different indeed. They are the eldest and can be compared to a magic archeologist. They have a passion for discovering all the magic they can, even if it leads them into precarious situations. Their brother and sister are similar but their methods are very different. Alex is the most level headed of the three and enjoys kicking back with a good book much more than running through ruins.
Day 9:
Skele-skele-skeleton! These boneheads were once adventurers but now they stick around to guard the treasures they once searched (and died) for. They appreciate fine art and are very humorous about it.
Day 10:
This one is not from the Misadventures of Squish but it is inspired by one of the Prototypes we worked on earlier in the summer. Its from the one called Somewhere in the Woods made by our artist. She put a lot of thought into her prototype and into this picture as well as both are loaded with symbolism.
